i thought this was gonna be a double knit.. because the book is called reversible knitting.. and i assumed all reversible knits are double knits.. oh silly me!

so i tried to work it like a double knit and tried 6 times before it dawned on me it is more like a mosaic knit. you know the meaning of insanity -- doing something over and over again exactly the same way and expecting differnent results. well, there ya go.

when it finally clicked -- and i guess i would have finally looked at the directions in the book.. hahahaha.. dynamic learner though -- it was like a no brainer. yimminy. as everyone can attest, i am not cray cray about mosaic knitting, but this is working out great. i love the 2 patterns, i love that the author shows you how to make your own patterns and it is not hard.. but then nothing is once you understand how to do it.

there ya go. got this much done finally last night. we’ll see how the progress goes.

rewrote the pattern to make it a true double knit. and not have to work 2 rows for 1 finished row of muffler. thought about writing the author.. undecided.. what a stupid way to do something so simple.
