Martha was my next door neighbor while I was growing up. I spent countless hours playing with her children and pretty much calling her house my second home. I just want to give her something back for all the love, support and understanding she gave me over the years.

The yarn i am using is a novelty yarn that I won at the Atlanta Knitting Guild in a raffle a few years ago. I think there is close to 1500 yds of it. Turquoise with deliberate uneven twisting. I think it is a pretty color and i hope she will like it too. I would like to send it to her by the new year.

Martha died Sunday 8.11.13. The world will be a little dimmer now.
