i am making a receiving blanket from different patterns using the orenburg lacing technique. i like the first is the edging which is from scarf with the no 20 edging from the knitted lace pattern book, 1850

nups suck! my friend Patricia gave me a hint that works out well. when making a nup, do your yo/k in the same stitch x number of times, then turn your work make the nup and place it back on the left needle.. it works out pretty good. heart rows took about 1 hr to do each row.
