Like several others, I had a bit of trouble with the hands- I actually did the first one my own way, and in doing so figured out the pattern wording, so I ripped it out and followed the pattern. The way I would word it:

Last Row: Sc to thumb. Flatten tube and turn so that thumb is on right side. You now have a ‘front’ row of sts and a ‘back’ row that you’ll be working simultaneously. Dc in first st of front row, then DC in the same st in back row. Slip st in next st through both rows. Repeat. (I hope this helps! Once I got my brain around the wording, it’s not hard to crochet)

When sewing on the arms and legs, it seems I have one of each that is longer than the other. I’m not sure if this is because I forgot a row or my tension was just off, but oh well- he’s still cute.
