3/2/10 - All Done! As predicted, the colors on the last one are not my favorite, but I think it works ok. I hope the person who gets it doesn’t hate it!

Yeah, I kind of gave up on trying to translate this pattern… there are some really great tips here on Ravelry, but I’m just impatient.

I was able to find a small chart here (scroll down a little past the pics) which is basically what I went with.

I made the first 5 halves using the recommended hook size for the yarn, not realizing that the swap mods prefer a tighter gauge. To combat the floppiness, I outlined the petals going through both layers, making these much more usable.

So far I’ve got 4 out of the 5 totally done, although the more I make the more creative I have to get with the colors as I’m using stash yarn that’s running out fast… last one could be really pretty or really, really ugly.
