My first time doing a “bottom up” sweater. I started on Saturday making an XS, decided to start over with a S, and now I’ve got 10 inches done of the body. If this goes well, I’ll hopefully make one for my sister for Christmas this year. (11.12.13)

It appears my yarns don’t match. Very frustrating as some balls are lighter than others. I was so excited to
use tosh vintage and now not so much. I’ve got the first body piece and one sleeve done. (11.16)

I have both sleeves connected to the body now. I am so disappointed in how the colors look different. It seems to look worse in the photos than real life, but I am still upset about it. Lesson learned about alternating from different balls. (11.22)

Well, I finished it just in time to wear for Thanksgiving. After blocking it, the sweater became ridiculously huge, so I ended up putting it in the dryer and it shrunk to a more reasonable size. I wish the sleeves weren’t so big, and that the yarn all matched, but I still love the sweater and have been wearing it a lot. I am making another for my sis for xmas. (12.5)
