I’ve always wanted to make this pattern, but I’m not sure who it’s for. I was thinking of keeping it for my future baby, but now I found out my cousin and sister-in-law are both pregnant. We’ll see who ends up getting this. My collection of ungifted baby items is really growing!

This is the smallest needle I’ve ever worked with, and it feels so slow going! One consolation is that this is probably the nicest yarn I’ve ever worked with. I love seeing the dress come along. Right now I’ve got a little over 7 inches. (2.12)

Last night I got up to the seed stitch on the belly, so all that’s left is the yoke & sleeves! (2.13).

The yoke and one sleeve border is done! One issue? I’m kind of doubtfull this will fit over any baby’s head. We’ll see after blocking. I went and bought some paper at paper-source to use as my backgrounds, and I am happy about that. Tonight after work I will hopefully finish it up. (2.16).

It’s blocked and done, and quite possibly the nicest thing I’ve ever made! I love it. The yarn makes it. I want to get more of this brand. The gray has a bluish tone to it. Next time I will do the two buttons on the back, since I am worried about the neck opening, but I still love it. I used pink thread to sew the button on. (2.17).
