I’m not exactly sure how 64 stitches would make a hat for an adult, since even on 6 mm needles, it’s only got about a 15 inch circumference. Or how you’d have the same number of rows in the owl section for every size of the hat provided in the pattern (why not just make the owl taller instead of adding extra rows on top?). Luckily, I was making it for a kid, so I didn’t have to worry about the circumference and height too much.

Still don’t like the yarn.
