I really liked the first Henslowe I made for my friend, so when I realized I definitely had enough yarn in my stash, I decided to make one for myself. I added extra rows to the garter stitch section (for a total of 58 yo loops on each side) and 2 extra repeats of the Roman Stripe section. It will have to wait a couple of weeks or so before I can block it, but I think once it’s blocked the size will be just right.

I forgot how much I love this yarn. <3

The YO loop row is still tight, so when I have it across my shoulders, it’s tighter than the rest of the shawl. It’s not really an issue, since the shawl is large enough to not need to stretch, but if I wanted to wrap up in it, pull it tighter around me, the tight row will pull.
