Sept 2 - Bound off hood ribbing.

Aug 22 - Bound off hem, pulled out original neck ribbing. Built up the area where the neck ribbing was with plain stockinette. This pattern has too many fiddly bits and the finished project looks too messy, let’s see if I can simplify things.

Knit ears like so:

• Pick up 32 stitches on hood (16 down one line of stitches, 16 more going back up the next row of stitches), place markers at beginning of row and at midpoint in row, join to knit in the round
• Knit 8 rows in stockinette
• Decrease every row until 12 stitches are left: ssk, knit to two stitches before marker, k2tog, slip marker, ssk, knit to two stitches before end of row, k2tog
• Graft the final 12 stitches together
