Started these because I needed a break from all the brown projects I was working on (Black Walnut and Baby Bear). The yarn is leftover from my Cupcake Princess Socks.

Finished knitting Aug 30.

I’ve modded the pattern just a bit as I’ve been working on these mittens:

• Only knit 10 rows of twisted rib on the wrist cuffs

• Left the palms of the mittens in stockinette stitch, which also means paying attention to make sure there is a left and right mitten

• Used a centered double decrease instead of sk2p
