03/22 Just cast on this evening. Went with a Worsted weight yarn, but stuck with the size 5 needles. So far seems like a good choice.

03/23 Still pumping out my purls and knits. Anxiously awaiting the moment when I get to start all the lacey prettiness.

03/24 Absolutely loving this pattern. While it’s taking forever to knit this hat (in comparison to my other projects), I’m doing well with it. I’ve completed one whole lace repeat and noticed that I was a stitch shy for a couple sets, but it didn’t affect the pattern! What luck. I ended up with one more stitch after finishing the lace so I just omitted one increase in the next row to compensate.

Omitted one whole repeat of the Cat’s Paw lace pattern.
