Notes

I would have completed this on the 20th if I hadn’t misread the pattern for the right slipper twice. READ THIS PATTERN CAREFULLY when you start the right slipper as it is not knit in the same manner as the left slipper. I made the mistake of starting the 2nd slipper without reading the pattern and later realized that after you cast on the 9 extra stitches on the i-cord, you TURN the work and knit across and not join in the round right away.

My second attempt at the right slipper was also frogged back to the i-cord when I realized that I had counted my stitches wrong when creating the yarn-oversm, thus they were not centered on the top of the toe.

My third attempt was a success, however. It was also much faster to knit, seeing as I had so much experience under my belt at this point.

I’m still not 100% happy with the result of my wraps and turns. They aren’t as tight as I would hope and at center points, it looks like there are gaps in the slippers. However, they are at the less noticeable sections of the slippers, so I’ll still wear them with pride. When I make these again though, I hope to have a better grasp on the w+t stitch.
