Notes

Fingering weight on 5s is just lovely. Loose enough to flow and have drape, but tight enough to not be too holey.

If you start this shawl, beware that once you hit section 4, the rows of stockinette become quite long. I suggest a good film to accompany them.
I personally watched Wall-E, The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Chronicles of Narnia, and the tv series The Big Bang Theory.

However, if you make it through these rows, the result is beautiful. I highly recommend a yarn with variegation that has long color repeats but where the colors don’t differ from one another too much such as:
Sheepy Time Knits (All Your Base)
Malabrigo Sock (Colorway like Aguas or Abril)

On section 5. These purl rows may actually be trying to kill me. Looks amazing, but patience is required.

A little smaller than I would have liked, although blocking should absolve that issue.

I did 5 sections and the finishing rows, although I did 9 not 11.
