12/21: both sleeves finished in between other projects. excited to get started on the body. so far a lovely and easy knit. enjoying the shetland fingering. knits up quick!

12/28: started body. color work hem done and now knitting waist shaping (using continental method).

1/1/15: thought this was going to be too big due to reading pattern sizing wrong (why do I always mess this part up?) but continued on thinking i could fudge.

1/7: I cannot fudge. thing is huge. ripped out entire body. put in time out while i calm down. (had measured bust at fullest when pattern calls for bust at underarm. duh.)

1/27: snow day so got started on this again. two sizes smaller and it should fit better. knitting in continental as this is now my preferred method!

1/30: waist decreases almost finished. tried on and its a nice neat fit (as it should be). cautiously hopeful this will work.

2/4: finished body and set aside, although I plan to go back to it and knit 2” more. Tried body on and it fits although it is definitely a neat fit. Ripped out last part of sleeves to resize for smaller size.

2/12/16: bringing out of the closet to fix the waist shaping which I really don’t like. I’ve snipped just above the waist color work border and am frogging back to above the waist so i can reknit with better shaping. stay tuned!
