My go to stitch count is 64 stitches, 2” of rib, 60 rows before I start heel and then 60 rows of the foot before I start the toe, approx.The mini skein pack was 12 minis, I used 6 for each sock. 2x2 rib. Knit about 15 rows of the mini, then striped in the next mini color for a few rows, dropped the previous color. Hueloco tweed for the cuff and heel. I still have about 4-5gr of each color left for some more scrappy socks. The heel is a plain old slip stitch heel with 3 knit stitches on each side on every row. Easier to pick up stitches. The cable is a lovely braid pattern, the little plait cable from barbara walker treasury.
