Just a little project,perfect for a gift if you ever need to knit something up really quick! I bought some unicorn tails and I wanted to knit something that looked gradient/ombre and I loved how the cozy turned out. No pattern, more of a recipe.
I cast on 40 stitches for a 12oz jar, holding the yarn doubled throughout. Purled first row and increased 4 stitches every other row with a M1 & color A until I had 56 stitches, dropped one stranded picked up one strand of color B increased to 60 stitches then knit 7 rows with each color sequence. color sequence as follows,
aa, ab, bc, cd, de, ee

Just before the last rows, I decreased stitched to 56 and purled 1 row and purl cast off. weave in ends.

colors are antler, antique lace, dust bowl, whiskey barrel, purple basil. There is enough yardage to make 2 cozies with leftovers.
