Fun pattern! I did all of the cables without a cable needle.

I slipped the knit stitches along the outer edges of the leaf patterns to make them stand out better.

I eliminated the belt and loops and added 5 buttons and buttonholes instead. I need to find a tidier method of making buttonholes. Mine look like gaping wounds.

Instead if knitting the sleeves flat, I picked up stitches around the armholes and used short rows to shape the sleeve cap. Then I knitted the arm in the round on 1 size larger needles, decreasing evenly down the sleeves to the cuffs. I used the surprisingly stretchy bind off at the cuffs so that they turn back easily.
