Yarn: Big Twist Super Bulky Natural Blend, 80% Acrylic, 20% wool

• Did the largest size, e.g. cast on 24 stitches, which I didn’t think would fit my feet, but they do actually

• Also added a couple rows extra here and there, but would need custom adjustment if I was knitting for myself possibly, e.g. perhaps some more increases and decreases to remove the toe point and the ones below the sock? And some slight give.

• Take care when synching the toes and heel at the end and pulling the yarn through the sets of 4 stitches - tighter the pull the more pointy it is and you can feel it. However, if it’s too loose, there will be a gap. Supposedly this goes away with some time and wear according to the pattern. Perhaps try kitchener stitch throughout next time? Not sure why this isn’t originally called for?

• But they do fit Mom’s feet great! :-)

• Super fast knit, can be easily finished in a day give or take 3-5 hours?

• Pattern has useful links to a video demonstrating some of the weirder stuff but it works out in the end

• Note that when the pattern calls to not knit the last stitch when doing the Turkish Cast on for the foot (after you’ve knitted the cuff), just don’t knit that stitch and slip it (purlwise?) on the needle and then follow the video instructions. Don’t drop the stitch from the previous row and then slip it as this will exacerbate the hole. Was initially confused by the video and instructions.
