FINALLY, finally, finished!!!

This began as the first Olearia, this dress was the original concept from where the whole collection began. Gosh, it seems so long ago I started this dress, finished most of it… and frogged it.

This pattern still has a little bit of tinking to go.. but it’s getting there.

Toby HAD to join in the act and try on the dress and have some photos taken too!! It’s obviously too big for him ;)

I think I actually like it better under a t-shirt, which is good as that’s how it will be worn.

The beautiful Spring native flowers in our garden are beginning to bloom. Hardenbergias, wattles, banksias, olearias, thryptomene, the flowering gums and the many other natives are all beginning to show off their colours. A delight.

Olearia are native daisy bushes. There are plenty of varieties to be seen walking through the green belt and parklands in our neighbourhood. Lily loves to stop and smell them, taking the occasional sample home for her nature table.

Spring sure is wonderful.

This is a little tester for a pattern for either a little singlet, dress or tshirt. Summery and uber cute!

this is the dress version… nearly done. finished pics soon :)
