Notes

Finally I have casted on and started my still light tunic. I have been drooling over this pattern for a while. The colour will be green like the colour of my eyes.

  1. March: Got below the arms. Found out by trying it on that Large was too large so I reduced it to Medium. Took a while to get all the 448 stitches back on but pleased.

  2. May: Only half a sleeve left. I don’t like 3/4 arms so I have continued the rib to a full length. Unfortunately we are coming into summer so I probably won’t be wearing it much until next winter.

  3. May: Finished. I had to redo one of the pockets because I casted off in a wrong way so it turned bumpy underneath.

I also re did the hem because it curled upwards and was too loose. So I knit 9 st and then k2tog around the whole tunik before I started on the hem. It looks much better this way and it does not curl upwards any more.

I kept reducing the amount of stitches on the sleeves until a total number of 80 st. When I got to the right length I knitted 15 cm rib instead of 2,5 cm because I don’t like 3/4 sleeves and I also like long ribbed sleeves.
