The tutorial is good some parts I didn’t get and would do differently but live and learn. I had put off doing a really fitted coat for him because it just seemed too hard to get the right fit. Her tips for measuring were helpful, there was definitely some trial and error. The front came together pretty well but the back end I had to frog 3 times. I probably could have re-done it one more time and made it just a little wider on the back end. But I was finished with it at that point and so was Rex who was constantly being bugged to try it on and off.(The price we pay for style!) I’m happy with it, I have bought coats for him in the past and they are either a little too long and wide or too small so this fits well. I didn’t add too much to the leg holes as it is spring and muddy, I was also worried about getting it on and off with a minimum of drama. I also like the bright colors since it’s spring here but still chilly. Rex got his spring haircut and was a shivering mess afterwards. So a new spring sweater was just the thing.
