Notes

made these mitts through trial and error and constantly trying them on his dad. Dan liked them as they were exactly what he asked for because he constantly loses his mitts. I would make the area from wrist to thumb shorter, although I like them going under the sleeve of your coat so you don’t get that cold breeze where the mitt and sleeve meet. other than that they fit his fingers well. I had to make this up as I went because I tried different patterns with different weights of yarn and different hook sizes and nothing was working, either too big or too small or if they were the right size then the hook was so big that the mitts were very open and light, and if I doubled the yarn they were too big and stiff. so trial and error worked in the end :)
