Work sc around x8 rows total (2”) Work in the round.
1 row dc X stitch, 1 row sc until desired length (6 sets) (5” of X stitch sets)
In X stitch section, work x stitch row, ch 1 turn, sc row, ch 3 turn.

Work 3 rounds sc. Work 1 last round, stopping at the 1/2 way mark on one side to add a 8-10 ch loop for the button. ( in the round)

Strap: Work 110 ch, turn, hdc cl (hdc 3 tog), ch 1, sk 1. work across entire strap. Fasten to bag. Make tassel for loop.
