r2-22 : lemon peel st across, starting with sc, ending with dc, ch 1 turn
r23: sc 12, ch 8 (button loop), sc in last 12. Do not fasten off. (finished square should be approx 7”x7”)

Fold work in half and whip stitch the side. Use long tail at the beginning to sew 2nd side.

Sew on button.
