Use as a base for pants, shorts, bloomers, underwear, etc. Can be worked with a few rows back and forth, then join in a ring for adding buttons, or one row sc and join for a string tie or belt.

r1: Ch 33, 32 sc
r2: sc, ch 1, sc across for button holes or sc across for ties (or work in rounds)
r3: repeat r1
r4: repeat r2
r5: If working flat now, sl st to join and begin working in a ring. sc around
r6-12 (for underwear) or as many rows as needed for pants.

For bloomers, finish bottom edge with lace (v-stitch, shells, etc.)
