I used a simple pattern of alternating rows. Make chain, turn, sc, sk 1, 3 dc shell, repeat ending with 2 dc on last stitch instead of 3, ch 1, turn, 1 sc in dc below, 3 dc in each sc below, sc in middle dc of each 3 dc shell below. Continue until length desired!
