Stay-at-home zigzag

Project info
Easy Ripple Afghan by SusanB
Crochet
BlanketThrow
Hooks & yarn
5.5 mm (I)
Notes

Beginning chain of 176+2.
Similar to previous zigzags I’ve done.

Using stash, 8 colors (1 skein of each), 3 rows per color, 4 total sets for the 8 colors, plus one more 3-row section for the border color. Odd number of rows balances the yarn ends on both sides. I did not use an overall border for the afghan, as I kind of like the raw finish!
(Otherwise, would need a little more yarn for the border color to get all the way around this a few times)

I started this just as the COVID19 stay at home orders were beginning. This afghan is being given to an anesthesiologist friend of mine who is serving on the front lines.
