Used up leftover oranges, yellows, and brown. All acrylic, mostly Hobby Lobby ILTY or Joann Big Twist. I really had to hunt for the perfect true 70s orange, like the fruit. That was the Crafter Secret yarn — not very soft, but perfect color!

Beginning chain of 176+2.

I first balled up all the yarn into sizes large enough for each ball to get a few rows or more (the balls were about the size of a large grapefruit, with some a little bigger and some a little smaller), laid them out in a nice pattern on a bed, and just crocheted my way through (regardless of where in a row the previous yarn ball ended). This is a really great way to use up scraps. I used 24 such balls of yarn for this one, some were pretty small (see pics to get a feel for sizes).

I decided against an edging.
