These rounds are tedious! But so pretty. Using a contrasting color for the scs in round 11 really adds a nice peek-a-boo color.

To keep the square the neatest, start the next color/yarn in a different corner. To keep track, I used locking stitch markers on the back of work (one in each corner), and removed the marker when I started in that particular corner. When all corners have been worked, put a marker back on each corner, and continue.

If you start a new color in a sc-in-the-back-loops round, then it makes the previous color pop a little better, gives it a more defined edge. For instance, starting a new color on round 20 is ideal.

I did go down a hook size for the granny rounds (rounds 17 & 18, when you do 3dc every third stitch).

Total size when finished was about 61” wide. I stopped after round 12 in the 5th repeat.
