I have been in love with this yarn since the moment I set eyes on it. I had managed to restrain myself from buying it for months however this time I could not stop myself. I did not have a project for it, so looked through potential projects. I nearly went for a top, but figured it would probably be quite scratch, so have decided to make this hat instead. I feel the colourway is perfect for a Harry Potter related hat as it is so magical and interesting!

I used the alternate cable cast on for 2x2 ribbing, which has given the perfect start to the hat
