I bought this lovely yarn in Shetland, at the Jamieson mill, with no specific project in mind. I thought I might use them for mittens, or a cowl, maybe.

When I had made the festive, red Jól hat for a Christmas gift, I really wanted one for myself. And remembered this yarn.

And I found the perfect coloured pompom!
