Testing of Ersa for Julie.
Beautiful, well written, well thought out pattern that uses just about exactly one skein of Prairie. It uses short rows, which I love, to make the arc, and decreases in the hdc’s for the asymmetry. The crescent shape just drapes beautifully around the neck and the lace edging adds a very feminine touch.
The Prairie is PERFECT for this pattern with a bonus of using one skein almost completely. :). I had 38g of yarn left before the edging, just 9g of yarn left after edging.

To block, I pinned the inside edge keeping my circle uniform, then pinned between the two trebles at each quarter pulling out evenly. I pinned between the other 2 tr sets all the way around then pinned the 2 straight edges. Lastly, I pinned the outside edge making a gentle roll from each 2 treble set.

And Vivian loves it! It matches her eye shadow perfectly :)
