Test for Berniole of a GORGEOUS design. The body construction is from center out. The edging increases in width and is 20 rows.

Note that on the even rows, many of the stitches will be worked into chain spaces, while the corresponding odd row that follows will be worked in the actual stitches. Also, starting on row 54, the start and finish of an even row and the corresponding odd row AFTER it are the same when working from the chart. The edging will ripple a little as you increase but blocks perfectly.

Blocking notes:
I pinned the sides straight and tried to keep the rows parallel. As the stripes end, they make a point - I then pinned this point straight, completing the body. On the edging, I pinned the leaf tips together first, then the points of the flowers.
