Plan to weave each shawl to 90” on the loom
fringe allowance 9” on loom
Warp is Red Purple
Ran out of Red Purple while winding the warp, so made a stripe of Fuschia. One pound of Tencel is not enough to warp for two shawls.
Weft is Fushia.

Beads: very tiny, from a mixed bead sale. Maybe size 11?
Hemstitch:
at start of weaving, 4-thread bouts, 4 picks into web. Simple hemstitch. Then, treadle 4 rounds of 5,6,7,8 treadling. This border measures 5/8”.
Project woven to 88 1/4” on loom including border, not including fringe.
Finishing: soak in hot soapy water for a few hours. Multiple rinses. Put in spin cycle in dryer. Iron press while damp. Hang overnight to dry. Steam press in Singer steampress, and one more final hard steam press with hand held iron.
