I expanded the draft for 2/60 silk warp.
Silk is 14,760 yyp, 1640 yards per 50g. I have 4,920 yards.

477 ends (1 repeat is 78 ends not including straight draw and balancing)
45 epi
10.6” wide in reed
70” long plus 7” fringe
6 yard warp for 2 scarves

1. Brown silk weft
On loom
74.75” long, 10.25” wide
off loom
71” long, 10” wide
After wet finishing, hot water, Dawn, 10 min in dryer normal cycle, hot iron pressing
66” long, 9 7/8” wide
12% shrinkage in length, 5% shrinkage in width
No temple
Italian hemstitching, 4-dent bouts, 8 picks
1” cut fringe
One 477 end repeat measured 14.5” on the loom. Average 33 ppi with a gentle beat and double tap, second tap after opening next shed.
Finished Aug 14.
Sold at Escondido Gallery for $150 in 2023.

2. Yellow cashmere weft
Italian hemstitch after 2x5-8, 4 dents, then weave 5 straight 5-8 repeats before starting diamonds.

After wet-finishing in hot water, Dawn detergent, warm rinse: 62” long, 9 3/4” wide, 6” twisted fringe.
(This now measures 60” long after wearing and washing, so I might have measured it wrong after 1st wet finishing.)
