How to weave in stripe ends from the Basics class at Vavstuga - Color 1 - leave a tail on pick 1, on pick 2 take tail and lay in pick. At the end of the stripe - just leave it hang, the color 2 do the same with tucking in the beginning tail. Before washing trim the ends.

This helps prevent buildup and no working out of the last color pick.
Next time, use floating selvedges.

Removed 7 towels from loom. Wove 1”, placed two sticks in plain weave sheds, wove another 1”. Lashed sticks back onto cloth rod when I was ready to weave again.
Sold three at $28 each at Vista Fiber Fair. Earned $64 after paying percentage and taxes to guild.

Wove 4 more towels, each appx 34” on loom, plus a 15” piece in 4/18 linen.

Off loom measurements:

1. White weft stripe with green band, rest in maroon 32.75” off loom (this one was woven on loom to 34” exactly).
2. Orange stripe with blue weft 33.25”
3. Gold and green stripes with maroon weft 36.25”
4. Gold and green stripes with blue weft 34”
