I started with an idea of a ripple stitch wrap/shawl.
After seeing and liking this project decided to go for a triangle too.
As guidance, I used Feather and Fan Comfort Shawl instructions.
And finally, Northmavine Hap had increases that I wanted to recreate, without eyelets though.
Since I was knitting with reclaimed yarns and combining two colours, I couldn’t calculate exactly how to employ them so they would look evenly spaced and be used up both completely. I ran out of the beige-brown sooner, there’s a bit of the pink one left.
The unblocked project looked quite pathetic :-)
Notes
Garter tab: CO 4sts, K 18 rows (9 ridges).
Pick up 9+4=17sts (4 were already on the needle).
4 edge sts on each side -> garter st border.
Mark 3 centre sts.
Make 4 increases every right side row, 2 at each side of the markers. I used M1R (x2) and M1L (x2). Increase till can start the pattern repeat (18sts). Mark every pattern repeat.
Increases placement - the gist of it:
Row 1: Edge sts, Pattern Repeat(s), M1, k1, M1, 3 centre sts, M1, k1, M1, Pattern Repeat(s), Edge sts.
Row 3: Edge sts, Pattern Repeat(s), M1, k2, M1, k1, 3 centre sts, k1, M1, k2, M1, Pattern Repeat(s), Edge sts.
Row 5: Edge sts, Pattern Repeat(s), M1, k3, M1, k2, 3 centre sts, k2, M1, k3, M1, Pattern Repeat(s), Edge sts.
Cont.as established.
Row 17: Edge sts, Pattern Repeat(s), M1, k9, M1, k8, 3 centre sts, k8, M1, k9, M1, Pattern Repeat(s), Edge sts.
2 pattern repeats added at each side.

Slip-stitch crochet along the edge.
