What a lovely result of combining a variegated and a striped yarn! Will need to use that technique with other multicoloured yarns in stash.

Very comfy heel - hugs your foot like a glove. Definitely a heel to return to.

20 rounds of 1x1 twisted ribbing.
44 rounds of the herringbone/chevron pattern.
The cuff is quite long, but I like it this way. In hindsight, I should’ve probably cast on 80 sts, not 70 sts as in the pattern. Maybe next time.
ECCO is a very nice technique too, never tried it before.

52 rounds in the foot between the heel and the toe. If I ever decide to repeat, add 4-6 rounds for my size.

I used a locking stitch marker to catch edge YOs (pictured below) since I was using magic loop and TAAT and the pattern repeat asked for YO at the end of the round before the change of colour.

Mods:
I substituted German short rows with Shadow wraps.
Also, when finishing the toe, I opted for reducing the final 10 sts to 5 sts by k2togx5, and then drew tight.

Very pleasurable knit.

Made in 47 hours.
