The pattern is somewhat confusing at first, due to the multiple sizes and yarn weights, but then it gets better.

I’m actually knitting this for my 5yo daughter, but decided on the adult version of the pattern since I’m knitting in fingering and would have to adjust anyway. After doing some math, decided to use “D size - DK yarn”. Hopefully it will make it close enough, but being a top-down raglan, it’s easy enough to customize to her size.

30-08-2013 - This ended up working quite nicely.
Picked up some stiches along the front raglan “seams” in order to give it the shaped front bands. Can’t remember the details though.
Had almost half the yarn leftover.
