My first Terrazzo project is going to be a cushion and I already know that I would like to make the whole blanket as soon as I find time to do it.

The way Tinna doing mosaic is really nice and clever ! something different !

For my first Terrarro squares I wanted something 100% icelandic. I have chosen Hespa from Guðrún Bjarnadóttir because I love this yarn and because Tinna and Guðrún are veery good friends.

We can use any kind of yarn for Terrazzo and may be my next project will be with StoneWashed cotton.

01/04: finished, now just need to make de cushion !
03/04: I made the cushion with the help of my mother, she has more patience than me for sewing ;)

J’ai choisi Hespa pour mon premier projet Terrazzo… ça ne sera pas le dernier je compte faire un plaid en StoneWashed après !

Pour mon coussin j’ai utilisé quasiment un écheveau de jaune et pour les “bleu” j’ai utilisé 2 nuances très proche (la plus claire sur les 3 premières rayures de chaque carré et la plus foncée pour les autres). En réalité ça se voit à peine mais j’avais des restes. Je l’indique ici mais je note 1 seul bain dans ma fiche projet car on peut aussi tout simplement utiliser la même couleur pour toutes les rayures.
Le coussin mesure 40 x 40 cm je n’ai pas bloqué juste lavé et mis à plat pour sécher, je ne souhaitait pas risquer de l’agrandir sa dimension me convient comme ça.
