New update: My stepmother gifted this back to me in 2017 after I had bariatric surgery and it now fits me beautifully; what a lovely thing to do <3. And I wore it to Rhinebeck in 2018! So proud of my first sweater :-)

Update: My stepmother is getting this - it fits her beautifully and she doesn’t mind hand washing :-). Will make another for myself using the Imperial pencil roving I got on fab sale from DBNY.

My first sweater for myself…upper arms too big, body a bit too tight, but I love every strand of it. I learned so much and look forward to picking my next sweater project.

Sleeves knit two at a time on two circs - first time trying this; loved it. Should be easier to learn magic loop now.

Sleeves successfully joined to body; hooray! Now 5 inches of stockinette before the pretty pretty yoke.

Tiny bit of Spring Green used for center of motifs- skein weighed 54 grams after using it :-)
