Notes

I have not been crocheting a lot in the past couple of years. I had seen this pattern in the store that I work at and really loved it because it looks like lace.

Key points:

  • I had to re-start because my tension was too tight. I think I was crocheting from the tips. You want to have a looser tension so that the stitches really open up when you block.

  • As mentioned by others, the first few rows of this pattern are a bit tough. I had to do these totally focused (no TV watching, no distractions). You have to really pay attention. Once you get to the 3 row repeat, it becomes MUCH easier and I was able to only consult my pattern every once in a while.

  • My only complaint on the pattern is that I wished it would have number of rows (or pattern repeats) for the different sizes. Instead it uses the weight to determine size.

  • I LOVE Anzula Cloud ---- it is really nice to work with, and very soft!!
