Notes from the other side: It was a frustrating start, but not because of the pattern. It was, as they say, user error. :) In the end I really love the way this turned out.

The yarn is gorgeous - the pictures can’t possibly do it justice - and the scarf is soft, cushy, and warm. I used pretty much all of three skeins, because I wanted that scarf long enough to fold in half and wear with the ends pulled through the loop. The drape is a non-issue.

10/4/10 Finished!

9/15/10 Coming along nicely. While I really love this yarn, I’m not sure it’s draping the way I had expected.

9/12/10 Cast on. Knit the first 18 rows. Realized my first cable was not only backward, but wrapped.

Frogged.

Cast on again. Realized halfway into the first row that I had knit with the tail.

Frogged.

Cast on again. So far so good.
