Every year we put together a great big Thanksgiving feast. Then, whoever wants to can help with taking it to a local park and feeding anybody who needs feeding. I’m not attending as I’m hosting a family Thanksgiving, but we’ve been doing this for 4 or 5 years now. This year, in addition to Beanmom’s amazing Sausage Apple Dressing (I always leave out the walnuts), I’m giving away hats to anybody who may need one to help stay warm.

I’ve managed a total of 7, and I believe Rachel is making some too.

10/18/10 Finished hat #2. Size 10 needles makes a hat perfect for my head size, but I think is too tight for man-noggin.

10/17/10 Need to get moving on these. Cast on hat #2, using size 10 needles instead of 10.5. (Charcoal)

8/11/10 Gauge was correct but it feels too big. Or too stretchy. Dunno. Perhaps blocking will help.

8/10/10 Finished the ribbed brim. Somehow this hat seems enormous.

8/9/10 Cast on using Magic Loop. (Nantucket)
