Kit. Small size . I’m not small but Alice is very generous in her proportions.
Shortened. Corrugated rib.
Started at large peerie panel . Attached shoulders middle of large peerie with back going to center row and fronts -1row from center of panel.
Did my usual short row in the Selkie, flower peerie panel to give me length in the back.
Upon perusal after starting the sleeves, discovered to my horror, decreased one too many stitches on R front.
After “phoning (whining to) a friend” questioned whether I should frog the entire L/R fronts to the beginning of the steek.
(I waiver on the intensity of OCD I experience in any given knitting crisis based on the laziness of a particular moment)
PREVIOUSLY
blithely cut the armhole steeks (cause cut now, realize shit later and knitting flat ==>change gauge from itr (and that shit is noticeable).
This most brilliant human suggested Duplicate Stitch. Which I did….into the sleeve…
As noted by others, AS, starts sleeve mid peerie panel.
- Started sleeves at same time to align motifs to match with placement on body. Worked a couple of rows of peerie panel #1 on each to get good idea of centering future panels. So far so good….Minimal argh factor.
- Continuing with one sleeve , decreasing as instructed. Everything’s aligning. So far so good… ….almost too good
- Arriving at peerie panel #1 again, Mid sleeve, and WTH?????? The motifs do not align with the initial peerie panel at armhole. Of course they don’t…Due to decreases….. arghhhh So shifted everything over to make the motifs align . OCD: pompitousness of heuristic knitting

I mean, really! Who can sacrifice that many years of their life in honing their craft?
Finished and sitting in a nice hot water bath to relax before blocking. The project, silly.
Side note:The yarn glows in the sun in a myriad of color in a single strand.
