Forge: interesting yarn. Stiletto tips are not it’s friend, catching plies at inopportune moments. The tips on Knitters Pride Karbonz were more forgiving.

This colorway bleeds. Two wet blocks with copious amount of vinegar, initially with the project pieces , then finished garment and still emits dye .

US5 => 20st/29r in Reverse Stockinette
Provisional cast on.
No waist shaping.
Moss stitch instead of reverse Stockinette.
Back neck shaping done (pattern does not call for it)
Given the cabling intensity, couldn’t do the back short rows within the piece as is my practice to elongated back. Had to wait for the ribbing at both waist and the collar.
Sidepanels extending cable incorporated into gusset feature.

Changed cable B (1.5” width)odd # stitches to one with even # stitches >pattern #137 -12 st/14r cable(1.5” width, 2.5” length) from N Gaughan cable book .
The width matches the original pattern cable B but the even number has multiples shown in Cable A -12 st/8r(1” width, 1”length)and Cable C -32st/48r (4.75”width, 5.75” length) . It is easier for me to knit in the same multiple.

Body:Pre blocked 15” width. Blocked 20” width.

Side panels : original pattern cable with moss stitch either side approximately 2.5” wide after blocking.
Gusset underarm continues the pattern cable.
Ribbing US4 2x2.
German short rowed back ribbing 6x to add approximately 1” to back length , incorporating sides and 12 stitches into front each side,9 stitches, then 5 stitches.
