Notes

General
Would have prefered charts but the pattern lines up so nicely it’s easy to follow the written directions

MC1 Hummer 10g, MC2 Ruby Thursday 20g, MC3 dunkle Kirsche 52g, MC4 Margarete 36g
CC Dartmoor 150g

Used DPNs until I could start using a 60cm circular needle

Used 3.25mm needles for body of shawl an 3.75 for i-cord BO

Mods

  • knit each brioche section with its own MC colour,
  • knit the eyelet sections with CC,
  • knit Section 1-3 as pattern, knit Rnd 1 twice at beginning of Section 4,
  • knit i-cord BO with CC.
