I kept track of short row shaping for right and left waves using a spreadsheet. It was helpful, because my wandering, distractable mind often forgot which needle was put into work and which into hold
With the help of this spreadsheet, I found that I could read my work (or needles, really, since the yarn used was rather dark), when knitting the waves.
