Heel, use eye of partridge over 35 sts with slipped st edges, but do enough rows to have p/u of 20 sts each side for total of 90 to begin gusset decreases to 70 again (high instep)
In red k 17, turn and k 1 p 33 and slip last st as if to p with yarn in front. drop red, attach black

Figured out how to use up the red by fattening up the Fairisle on foot. 72 sts, 2,25 needle. No increase to 80 sts as in cuff, would be too big. Toe from recently purchased “Amande” in broken rib pattern.
